Located in the heart of the Ohio’s Amish Country, Gerber Poultry, Inc. produces and processes
a premium, all natural line of fresh chicken products for businesses operating in the Retail
and Foodservice Industries. The company’s fresh chicken products have developed a reputation
for excellence in quality and service for customers in local markets throughout the State
of Ohio. These fresh chicken products include whole birds, cut-up parts and boneless
skinless breasts and thighs. These products are packaged bulk, in ice or CVP, or case ready
trays for the Retail markets. Additional products include a marinated and injected product
line of whole and cut-up parts for use in the Foodservice Industry.
A vertically integrated organization, Gerber Poultry is able to maintain high standards of
quality from the purchase of fertilized eggs for incubation and hatching to the proper grow
out of the live chicken and finally the processing and distribution of the whole and cut-up
fresh chicken products.
Gerber Poultry’s fresh chicken products are sold in premium retail markets throughout Ohio.
Many of the local foodservice establishments that feature the “Home Cooked Amish Style”
meals use our fresh chicken products as a signature item on their menus. The loyalty of
our customer base over the years can be attributed to Gerber’s commitment to quality and

own fleet of company trucks. Regional distributors also ship our fresh chicken products to
